Island ring

Island Ring is a sculptural sterling silver ring featuring two natural topazes — a luminous Sky Blue Topaz and a deeper London Blue Topaz. Set side by side, the gemstones create a refined dialogue between light and depth, while the organic silhouette gives the piece a contemporary yet timeless character.

Inspired by fluid forms found in nature, Island Ring is designed as a modern statement that remains effortless to wear. The open, adjustable band offers both comfort and versatility, allowing the ring to adapt naturally to the hand while maintaining its sculptural elegance.

Each ring is created using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The process begins with a hand-carved wax model before being cast in sterling silver and carefully hand-finished in our atelier. This time-honoured jewellery-making method allows every curve and proportion to be faithfully preserved, celebrating the craftsmanship behind every MAAR piece.

The contrast between the two natural topazes defines the character of the design. Sky Blue Topaz reflects light with a clear, airy brilliance, while London Blue Topaz introduces a deeper, more saturated tone reminiscent of the sea at dusk. Together, the gemstones create a subtle play of colour that changes beautifully as the light shifts. As each stone is naturally formed, every ring is unique, with its own delicate variations in colour and internal characteristics.

Island Ring can be worn as a sculptural statement on its own or styled with other MAAR rings, including Veri Peri Ring, Rouge Ring and Pinky Ring, creating a layered composition that celebrates colour and form.

To preserve the shine of your sterling silver jewellery, store it in a dry place and avoid contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics and household chemicals. Clean with a soft polishing cloth intended for silver jewellery.
