Description
Veri Peri Ring is a sculptural sterling silver ring featuring a natural iolite, inspired by the refined geometry of Art Deco. Set in a smooth bezel, the deep blue-violet gemstone becomes the focal point of the design, while the bold proportions and clean lines create a contemporary silhouette with timeless appeal.
Designed as a statement piece, Veri Peri Ring is expressive without feeling overwhelming. Its architectural form balances minimalist aesthetics with the richness of natural colour, making it equally suited to everyday wear and special occasions.
Each ring is created using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The process begins with a hand-carved wax model before being cast in 925 sterling silver and carefully hand-finished in our atelier. The wide band and geometric bezel reinterpret Art Deco through MAAR's distinctive contemporary design language, celebrating both craftsmanship and sculptural form.
At the centre of the ring sits a natural iolite, a gemstone admired for its remarkable depth of colour. Shifting between deep indigo, violet and cool blue, iolite displays a natural optical phenomenon known as pleochroism, causing its hue to subtly transform as it catches the light. The result is a ring that reveals a different character throughout the day.
Veri Peri Ring can be worn on its own as a striking statement or layered with other MAAR designs, including the Chilli Ring, Rouge Ring and Clarity Ring, creating a bold yet refined composition.

As a natural gemstone, every iolite is unique and may feature slight inclusions or internal characteristics. These natural variations are part of the stone's individual beauty.
We recommend removing your jewellery before bathing, swimming, exercising or performing household tasks.
Natural gemstones should not be exposed to concentrated UV light, such as nail lamps or tanning beds, as prolonged exposure may affect their colour over time.
